Oceania members

A dispersed continent including the largely desert land mass of Australia and its string of wetlands along the east coast, the lush temperate zone of New Zealand and the numerous Pacific Island Countries and Territories with their incredible biodiversity. 

Areas such as the Murray-Darling Basin in Australia suffer from massive demands on a restricted supply of water, resulting in degradation of a huge number of wetlands.  Over-exploitation of agricultural land is also partly responsible, and holds useful lessons for catchment management.
