Data-time for wetland survey

Eighty-nine countries and territories are represented in the latest citizen science survey of the state of the world’s wetlands. In 2020, we teamed up with the Society of Wetland Scientists to help find out just how wetlands are doing around the world. Hundreds of you answered the call. Thank you!

In total we have 522 submissions across the even languages of the survey.

Two countries lead the number of submissions: both New Zealand and Mexico had 42.

Now, the lead scientists will start analysing the data. Nick Davidson, Rob McInnes, and Matthew Simpson will work together over the coming months.

We will keep you informed of the findings!
