National award for WWN Cameroon representative

Chi Napoleon Forpah of the Watershed Task Group (WTG) shares the results of Cameroon’s national Competition to crown World Wetlands Day 2024.

WTG was one of the participants and carried the day by winning the First Prize. Cameroon Ramsar Focal Point Prof. Ndongo Bathelemy coordinated the prize selection process. The Ministry of Environment, Nature Protection, and Sustainable Development (MINEPDEP) chaired the award ceremony with the support of the IUCN and its Bridge Project.

The information may be useful for other wetlands of the WWN which WTG is focal organisation for Cameroon.
