What is a Whitley Award?
Whitley Awards are our flagship prizes. They are awarded to effective, mid-career conservationists working and living in the Global South.
Our Awards support community-based projects which are poised for scale up and use the latest available science to benefit wildlife, people and the climate.
These coveted prizes are won competitively following assessment by an expert judging panel and are presented by our Patron, HRH The Princess Royal, at a ceremony held in London. Our next Awards ceremony will take place during Spring 2024.
